This blog space has been created for sharing my experiences, ideas for better photo shoots and stories about photography. I also love to tell stories of how my faith journey has intertwined with my photography journey. We all have experiences that we can share and learn from. We all have a story to tell. I love to tell a story, I love to hear a story. Photography is really about capturing your story. That is what makes it so enjoyable. We are all different and unique individuals. The challenge is to capture that uniqueness. And I have learned to embrace and celebrate my own uniqueness. This was not as easy as one would have thought. Transitioning from working in education and being a student in higher education to working as a creative entrepreneur was a huge transition for me. Having education in leadership and ministry while working in ministry to working in my own photography studio facilitated that deep search for identity. This is where I learned to embrace and celebrate who God has made to be and do what He has called me to do - whether that is behind a camera, at a desk, or in an office. I have also learned to not limit myself to one thing. It takes wisdom and experience to learn you can do more while keeping priorities and boundaries in place. If I can do it, SO CAN YOU!
